REACH also offers imports and exports for any custom field data you have set up as a table.
A common example we see of this is from our clients is for Field Data. In basic terms, this is any set of data you’d like your staff in the field to record for your sponsorships within REACH.
In our example, we will set up a Custom Field for Field Data,with a Referral of Sponsorship Type and record the Date, Reporter’s Name, Access to Clean Water?, Overall Health, Health Observation Notes, Currently in School?, Class/Grade in School and more.
- First, go to Data Setup > Custom Fields.
- Click + New Field
- Add a Title
- Referral > Sponsorship Type (or Project, Place, Campaign, Supporter)
- Type of Data > Table
- Click + Add Field to add as many fields as you wish to capture
- Click Create
Once created, REACH will automatically create an import template for you to enter your Field Data.
Go to Data Setup > Data Import/Export
Under Import Templates > use Custom Table Import Templates to find the template created
You can then add your data into the template and continue with importing.
You can also Export your data at any time by going to Data Setup > Data Import/Export > Exports tab and choosing it from the exports list.
